Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am currently a teacher in the Bronx, NY with students who have a variety of emotional and intellectual disabilities. I would love for my students to have access to tools that will help them to become more organized and successful mathematicians. They are a great bunch of kids with motivation unlike any I have ever seen.
We recently had to retire our previous printer as it was on its last leg of a fantastic journey.
The old printer allowed many students to showcase their excellence and provided them an opportunity to bring their work home to their families. Students were able to prove their abilities and impress themselves as well as their service providers with the progress they made throughout the year.
We are looking to again give this ability to our current and future students by obtaining this printer and these supplies through your generosity. We appreciate any help we receive and thankful for your assistance in this matter.
