This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Can you imagine the feeling of being able to document your learning with photographs? A digital camera would put this power in the hands of our each member of our classroom.

We are a public school in Illinois.

Over the years, funding has decreased tremendously, so our materials and resources are limited. It has not slowed us down in the least. We work very hard everyday to learn all we can. We are much more that a school. We are a family.

My Project

Having a digital camera in our classroom would open up so many possibilities for recording and documenting progress and learning in the classroom. It will also give the children the opportunity to see themselves and their classmates in action. We will be able to create photo albums to accompany each unit of study, and send them home so that the children can share what they have learned with their families.

Our classroom would tremendously benefit from having a digital camera at our fingertips at all times to show children in action.

We would be able to document learning everyday. The children will have the opportunity to photograph their early learning.
