My students need a digital camera to catalog all the activities and learning that is being done. Student Council captures excitement around the school, activities we sponsor (homecoming, winter royalty, community service projects, and so on).

My Students

My students constantly amaze me. Many don't have the resources or support at home and yet come to school and work to persevere to achieve the goals.

Most students are involved and busy and yet make time to meet their academic deadlines.

I am available for students who need a place to work or just someone to listen. These students are learning to be positive contributors to our society.

Our community is divided between the public school and private non-accredited school. Many of our students come to us from the private school or a home school situation. We have students from a variety of home situations, good, bad, and very bad. Our students are cared for in our school, and we work to help them achieve their goals.

My Project

Student council members will capture the fun moments that are sponsored throughout the school. They plan, organize, and execute homecoming, parades, murder mystery parties, community service projects, winter royalty, spirit weeks, national days, and many other activities.

Having a digital camera to use for their own will greatly enhance the ability to keep record of activities and student involvement.

It will also allow us to share pictures on social media of activities and events that have occurred or will occur in the future.

Not only will this be used in student council, but also in classroom activities and competitions. Students compete in math competitions, and this will help capture the work and moments of perseverance of students.
