Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All our students are curious about the world and want to learn by exploring and having new experiences. A fish tank will give my students the opportunity of learning more about fish and also they will be able to develop different skills like responsibility by taking care of the fish, empathy, social skills, and emotional well-being, while also providing companionship and reducing stress.

A fish tank is an engaging experience that will teach my students responsibility and spark their curiosity about the natural world.

The fish tank will also enhance our Science Center by giving the students the opportunity to appreciate how fish live and grow.

Each student will take the fish home during the weekends and will have a journal about what they observe and their experiences with the fish at home. This activity will also help my students to develop their writing and communication skills.
