My students need sensory items such as textured balls,gel mats, and gel shapes. They also need fine motor manipulatives such as magnetic blocks, buzzers, and peg boards.
My students attend an Early Childhood program that has many classrooms servicing students on a variety of levels. All of my students are amazing little learners!
My students also come from all different backgrounds with a variety of health and learning challenges that put them at risk for school success.
My classroom consists of medical fragile children and also integrated classrooms where this project will serve all of my students. I want to give my students the tools to be able to succeed on their goals in my classroom.
My students deserve the same as their peers and I hope that with this project I am able to make that a reality!
My Project
My students are all on a variety of levels in my classroom. I am hoping to get the materials they need to succeed and have the education they deserve.
Sensory and fine motor are a big part of my classroom but my students don't have access to these materials due to funding.
I would love to purchase the big sensory tiles and shapes for my students who are mainly sensory seeking students.
Many of my students are severely impacted and I would like to create a classroom where they are seen and treated like their peers. There are currently only a few items in my classroom that are developmentally appropriate for my students and my students should be seen and treated like their peers no matter their circumstance. The materials I am asking for would create a classroom where I can create an environment to meet their needs and education.
