This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a low-income neighborhood and are in need of classroom resources to enhance their education through a more relaxing and comforting environment.

My students work well with a comfortable environment, and providing them furniture that allows for flexibility of working in class will benefit them greatly!

Giving students the option to work in different areas of the classroom with furniture they find comfortable or welcoming will increase their comfort in the class. I want to achieve an open, homey feel to my classroom to give my students the comforts of home in the classroom!

My Project

Kindergartners are an imaginative group of little humans! I have seen such amazing classrooms in my school and nationwide that function so well with flexible seating options, and I want to take the leap by including small pieces over time.

A Nugget will greatly add to my classroom dynamic because it will create a space of fun, love and foster hard work by allowing for a different classroom set up!

I am excited to see my students working together in a comfy setting and using this same furniture to have creative play time since we are limited on space and toys to play with in our class.
