My class is composed of students on various academic levels. There are twenty one eager boys and girls in our classroom. We are in a wonderful school in South Carolina.
Kindergarten students come to school excited about learning.
They are at the age where they are sponges, absorbing everything I can pour into them. Some come to me with Pre-K experience, some do not. It is important to instill the love of learning into them at this very young, but critical age.
I love giving my kindergarten students flexible seating options. This Nugget will be a huge hit in my classroom. A Nugget is an "infinitely configurable play couch made up of four foam pieces: base, cushion, and two triangle pillows." Students can use the Nugget when reading books, working in reading and/or math stations, working on independent work, or during free centers. The opportunities are endless. Students can construct different objects using the four different pieces of the Nugget. The Nugget doesn't take up much room, and that is truly a lifesaver in a classroom. The possibilities are endless with a Nugget in our classroom!
