My Project

I love that my classes get excited when Scholastic Magazine arrives and they ask if they can read them. Kids get enjoyment out of making connections with informational text and historic non-fiction. Building interest and making connections keeps my student interest. Scholastic News provides at grade level text that we can get excited about reading.

All of my students are two or more grade levels below grade level proficiency and need materials that meet them where they are.
