My Project
I am so excited for this upcoming school year! I have a class of some awesome new 4th graders and I want to start this year off right! This is my second year teaching fourth grade! I am in need of a few things to help our year start off on the right foot.
I am looking for some engaging and necessary materials to help my students grow and succeed to the best of their ability!
Every year, our school does a reading competition called Battle of the Books. Students choose books to read from 20 titles and then compete answering questions about what they know. I am asking for each of these books so they will be more accessible for my students!
In addition to books, my students need a few other things. You would not believe how hard students are on their clip boards. My clipboards have seen better days and the ones I have selected are also whiteboards - so cool! They will have what they need! My students are also in need of a binding machine. This will keep their books together much better and we will even be able to complete various writing projects and bind their writing together in books! I am going to have some great writers this year! I am also looking for things that will motivate good classroom behaviors. I am asking for a reward jar, comfy chair, and erasable pens to help encourage students to work hard!
