My Project

The kids of Oak Grove deserve instruments to play in music class. Band is the single most popular activity in the town, and having percussion equipment in the elementary school will set up the kids for success when they go off to middle school and join the band.

Xylophones are a necessary tool in every elementary music class and we need some more!

My plan is to grow our equipment over the next few years so that the kids have opportunities to play instruments of all kinds. Xylophones and pitched percussion instruments also help with music literacy and note reading.

Mrs. Edwards will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 13.
