I have an exceptional group of students every year that excel in their learning. I want my students to have more opportunities to succeed. I would like to teach them through many different avenues.
I teach in a school that is 100% economically disadvantaged.
Many of the students beg to stay at school because they love to learn. This is what I want for my class. I want my students to love coming to school, and I want to make learning fun and exciting for them as well.
My Project
I am trying to create interactive notebooks for each child in my classroom for the coming year. These notebooks will help the students in their learning and it has room for growth throughout the year. The notebooks can be tailored to ability level, which is what I need for students that come into the classroom at different abilities. The sheet protectors will allow the students to write in the notebooks and erase so that we are not wasting paper. I am also trying to build up our classroom technology, so I would like to keep adding on to our tablets in the classroom. If I am able to get this tablet, it will allow a small group to be able to work on tablets at the same time.
