My Project

My community of learners come from a diverse background including many Native Hawaiian children and more than 90% that qualify for free or reduced lunch. My students have been really good about using what we have and being thankful for everything. However, we need our old backpack rack replaced with a new one. Our current rack has served us well over the years, but it is showing signs of wear and tear as it was modified and repurposed, painted, and put together by none other than myself.

A new backpack rack will not only help us maintain a tidy and organized space but also promote pride in our classroom.

Please help my first graders get a new backpack rack to store their things in a neat and tidy way. This rack will help us to enjoy a classroom that is organized, clean, and one that the students are proud to call theirs.
