Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

While getting ready for a new school year (2024-2025), I started a list of the most important things my students will need and enjoy in our classroom.

Each and every student deserves a classroom where they have access to headphones, project paper, and a comfy rug for our reading corner.

Chromebook usage is a crucial part of each child's learning, and my goal is to be able to provide good-quality headphones to students that do not have them. This allows them to read and listen to books, instructions, and problems, which will especially help my English Language Learners. In addition, we do many projects throughout the school year that require poster paper, and having easy access allows students to learn and display their learning effectively. As for the comfy rug, I want to provide my student with a place to read, chill, and take a break when they need one. Lastly, I will use the erasers for back-to-school night to remind my new students that it is okay to make mistakes; after all, that's one of the best ways to learn! My class and I are already so thankful for your contribution to our project!
