A New School Year Makeover

Help me give my students a new classroom rug for group reading time and a table.

My Project

This year, the students will be moving into a new building, and it will be a big change for them. To make the transition easier, I would like to freshen up some of the classroom options. First, I would like to have a new rug in the front that will allow the students to have a special seating area that allows them to have a more mature picture on it to mark the movement to a higher grade level with more responsibilities and growing up.

Students also like to move around while learning, and allowing flexible seating by offering the option of sitting at a table while working will be an exciting option for updating the classroom.

The table chosen is red, and I hope that if it works out well, I want to get more if the students really love it!

One area I feel we are weakest at is focusing on the students' social and emotional well-being. I want to focus on helping them feel better and safer about coming to school and enjoying being in the environment they are in this year, and with your help, I believe I can do this.
