My students are amazing kids from all over the world! These kiddos come from many different countries and speak many different languages. English, for most of them, is their second language.
These sweet souls come to school day in and day out, often times having experienced some sort of trauma, food lacking in the household, bug bites, and unkempt dirty clothing.
Nevertheless, they persevere and succeed. I am always looking for new ways to help them succeed.
These sweet and innocent kids have experienced so much in their young lives and they have hearts of gold. My heart is so full of love because of them.
My Project
Hi Supporters! I am reaching out to try and get a new classroom carpet! Our current carpet is so dirty, has been through many spills and accidents that it is time for a new one! Sadly, when I inquired about getting a new one I was given the runaround.
Kindergartners will use this carpet several times throughout the day!
This is our "home" when I am teaching whole group or when the kids finish their work! We not only complete work from this carpet we listen to stories, we ask and answer questions and we use the interactive SmartBoard while sitting on the carpet!
