A New Reality!

My Students

I am a Computer Science CTE teacher and I teach students in grades 6-8. My students face many challenges every day. Our CTE program looks for ways to create hands-on interactive learning experiences for my students. They are eager to learn and when given the opportunity they love to find ways to think critically implementing hands-on projects to technology to solve problems.

My students learn best by sitting in the drivers seat and taking control of their own learning!

They are now taking their knowledge one step further and are creating lessons for students in lower grades to inspire them to love learning and Computer Science too! They are becoming our leaders of tomorrow!

My Project

With these augmented reality tools my students will be able to explore science and social studies concepts that they would otherwise have to learn from lecture based learning.

Through these technology tools, students will be entranced in learning by creating a reality unlike one they have ever experienced before.

These technology tools allow science and social studies concepts to literally jump off of the pages and right into the hands of students for exploration and engagement! This will be the first time students in my district have ever experience augmented reality, and once my students master it, they will take what they learn and share it with other students in the district!
