A New Organized Space

My Project

Books are one of the best ways we can teach our students. Books build background and share the world through words and pictures. It is amazing to watch my students become excited, entranced, and involved in stories. Picture books find a way to make students excited about reading again as well as gain academic knowledge in all subject areas, which helps them to succeed in both school and life.

Learning through literacy is a best practice technique for activating students' interests and abilities to comprehend abstract concepts.

My students need a place to quickly find high-quality texts. These bookshelves would allow me to pull books at their level from our school library and classroom library for display.

I am looking to enrich my students' reading experience by creating a space for students to find books related to what we are learning in our Social Studies and Science inquiry units, as well as writing units and math units.
