A New Light In Kindergarten!

Help me give my students a new way to practice counting and writing their numbers and letters.

My Students

My students are impressionable, imaginative and inspired. We are a Title I school. Our school contains very high percentages of children from low-income families as well as students who have English as a second language. We are one hundred percent free and reduced lunch.

Our students are always evolving with the changes that are thrown at them on a daily basis.

These kids work hard and are wanting to shine and succeed beyond the daily tasks assigned to them.

Our kids go above and beyond what we require of them. They are kind, caring and loving individuals that will do whatever it takes to succeed!

My Project

Using the light tables will help students see exactly how to write their numbers and letters. Offering students the ability to trace over the top of light will allow them to correct their mistakes easier. Offering the opportunity to sort math manipulatives over light will add another level of excitement to their math standards. These light boards will help extend students learning during instruction and during center time. Using these during centers will allow me to help meet the needs of each child at their own instructional level during the school year.
