A New Innovation Center...For Our School

My Students

Our school houses approximately 550 students from kindergarten through the 5th grade. I get the opportunity to teach as well as learn from all of these amazing students. They help make me a better teacher/person each and every day. Their passion, their desire, their interest in learning is so profound when they are given hands on, problems solving task to work with-with their peers. The smiles, the excitement to learn makes teaching more enjoyable each and every day!

My Project

STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Art and Math) are all skills greatly looked upon in our current workforce. We feel it is important for our students to be exposed to various equipment that help prepare them for our technological world. In our innovation center, we hope to have a vast amount of different equipment to provide students with the opportunity to problem solve various tasks at hand dealing with STREAM. Team work, communication, problem solving skills, trial and error will be key in solving problems at hand. This will be a place to learn, explore, create, conquer task, work as a team, communicate and have fun at the same time.
