Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Over ninety percent of our amazing students live below or near the poverty line. Almost all of our students are Hispanic, and more than half are learning English as a second language. Sometimes our school struggles to get the resources we need to teach and care for our incredible students. This makes the job of a school even more important, and you can help!
A new rug would allow us to feel comfortable, provide us with a place in the classroom where we all come together to learn and grow.
My classroom is an inclusive preschool classroom where we gather each day for circle time, small group, music and dance blocks, and I would love a new rug to help carpet time feel welcoming, clean, and give students a space to learn.
