This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom library is in desperate need of an upgrade. The books were chosen based on the unique interests, reading levels, and passions of the students in my class. These specific books will make a powerful difference by helping each reader feel excited, and motivated to read independently and with comprehension.

My goal is to build a classroom library that inspires a love of reading in my students.

I want my students to be able to find something they truly want to read. Students should be able to read books that they have chosen and are excited about. I want my students to increase their stamina in reading by reading longer books while increasing their comprehension.
