Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love to gather at circle time for discussions, singing, and dancing. They also love to sit , lay, and play on the classroom carpet that is cushioning, soft, and safe. A soft carpet is a safer floor. If a child falls, the child is less likely to get hurt on carpeting than on porcelain tile. A soft carpet will offer more traction and cut down on slips, trips, and falls. A carpet will also offer my students a designated sit area for learning.
The donations of this project will help my students feel comfortable and ultimately they will improve and increase their attention and focus.
Having a bright and colorful carpet will allow my students to engage in gathering discussions, learning through play, and interaction with peers. A new classroom carpet will also help my students to keep heat in the classroom during the colder months of the year. Thank you to all the donors that will help my student to incorporate a warm and cozy atmosphere and productive classroom.
