This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I've been teaching choir at my school for the past five years. Since the end of the pandemic, I have finally been able to get an up-and-coming choir program off the ground. What I have noticed this year is that I always play the piano while they are singing. And now for my spring concert in May, I want to make a change in my classroom

I want to become more of a conductor in my class to push my student's musicality.

Having a conducting stand and chair will help advance my students to a higher level. I have already built a platform and found my old baton. With a few more needed resources I can expose my students to a new music experience to better not just them; but myself.
