This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are living in a time where our schools lack many resources and often cause a gap between students of different socio-economic statuses. I think its important to have as many resources as we can to give all our students the opportunity.
It is for this reason that I am seeking rolling carts so that I can have stationed mini libraries around the class room.
Bookcases are far more expensive and bulky, these carts would help move books around easily and hopefully a child thats to shy to get up to get a book, would be encouraged to give one a try.
