Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I primarily work with immigrant and refugee students and families. I need books in Spanish to add to my book collections. I am also requesting weighted stuffed animals, fidgets, snacks, candy, and prize incentives to get my students excited to participate and meet their therapy goals!

I want to provide my students with a space that they can relax in and be inspired.

My students face hardships as they integrate into a new country, language, and culture.

I want my students to have a strong sense of belonging and to be excited to continue their education as they learn and practice healthy coping skills and strategies.
