A More Comfortable Classroom!

Help me give my students comfortable seating options because a lot of students struggle with sitting for extended periods of time and the cushions allow them to move around the room without having to sit on concrete floors.

My Project

We have concrete floors in our classroom and the lap desks and cushions will allow students to move around the room to work without having to sit on the hard concrete floors. The dehumidifier is much needed because being in the basement of the school, the Texas warmer weather hits us hard and our room gets very musty. The light is my version of a solution to wanting calmer lighting with a very minimal amount of outlets.

My hope for this project is that a comfortable classroom will allow students to focus on the material instead of external stimuli.

My students are fantastic and have such unique ideas and ways of learning. I hope these supplies allow them to see that it is okay to come up with unique solutions to problems and to learn in a unique way.

Ms. Nasenbeny will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 15.
