This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have a math and science background, and this enables me to implement STEM-enriched learning when the students would not usually be exposed to it. I've recently switched from a technology teacher to a first-grade teacher. I am highly recognized in the hallway, but I wouldn't change any of that.

My students make me feel like I am a rock star!

They are always ready to play on the computers. Most of the time, they don't even realize that what they're doing is actually learning.

My Project

We are in desperate need of organization! We need storage carts to store all of our STEM materials including little electronics and maker space supplies. We need USB hub chargers to make sure our devices are charged at all times. We need a Cricut Maker with accessories, wood and a glue gun to create a functioning maker-space. When students are in a space where supplies are organized and things are easily accessible, I believe they can be more productive and successful. The supplies in this project will allow students to be productive and successful in a nice, organized and tidy classroom where everything has a place.
