My Students
My students are extremely hardworking despite challenges they may face on a daily basis. All of my students are on Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) and require specialized instruction. They exude personality and make me glad I am their teacher. They deserve to have all the materials necessary to help them navigate their day successfully!
This group of students have a variety of learning profiles and very diverse needs.
They are unique in their needs, strengths, and personalities. If you need to smile, my students can provide one for you! Despite the struggles these children face daily, they still come to school eager to learn.
My students are a mix of ages and abilities. They are part of a school system that is facing incredible budget cuts for the upcoming school year. They deserve all the materials needed to be successful.
My Project
The dry erase boards, markers, and erasers will allow my students to show what they know in a medium other than paper and pencil. They will be ale to answer a variety of types of questions and show their work, helping to reinforce academic concepts. The Sentence strips and rings will allow the students to create study books for math facts, sight words, and vocabulary. They will be able to take home to study or use with partners to help retain the information.
Magnetic letters will attract the students to building words!!!
They will be able to build words and manipulate the letters to get a hands-on experience. These letters will help reinforce phonetic concepts and sight words.
Finally, who doesn't love stickers!!!! These stickers will provide positive reinforcement for a job well done!
