Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
All our students have read the first book in the Harry Potter series and have learned to love the plot and its characters. What better way to honor their passion for Harry Potter than with a classroom library that mirrors it?
Classrooms need to be inviting and engaging for students and what better way to achieve this than with a Hogwarts-themed library; let's bring the magic to our classroom!
The Hogwarts storage chairs can serve as special seats students can borrow while engaging in independent reading time. The book ends and fabric storage cubbies can help us organize our books so they can be more accessible to our students. This awesome decor will surely make the library area more appealing for students, which will motivate them to cozy up with a good book. Moreover, it will hopefully motivate our students to read the remaining six books in the Harry Potter series, building their vocabulary and allowing them to enhance their reading skills.
