Help me give my students a memorable Field Day experience by providing them with tubs, scooters, and water toys to create stations surrounding Disney movies for our Disney Themed Field Day event.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Each year students gather together at the end of the school year to celebrate all that we have learned in physical education class during our Field Day. A theme is selected and stations are created surrounding that theme. This year, our theme is Disney and I have created 10 different Disney stations surrounding a Disney movie. I am in need of scooters for our Cars station and water toys and tubs for our Mickey Typhoon station. Both of these stations involve working together with peers to accomplish the task. The items surpass what my yearly budget allows and so I am hoping to gather the needed items that will complete our Field Day.
Field Day is such an anticipated event.
Many students at my school aren't afforded the luxury of a yard to play or sports to participate in outside of school. This allows them an experience to play, socialize, and practice their fine and gross motor skills all while having FUN!
