This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Apple Mac Mini will provide my students with access to fast, professional-grade technology, allowing them to create podcasts, presentations, and other digital projects with ease. Having this reliable tool will boost their creativity, strengthen critical thinking, and help them develop strong communication skills — all while preparing them for future careers that involve media, technology, and collaboration.
Our specific learning goals include building communication, digital literacy, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
I also want to future-proof our technology setup with a durable, high-quality computer that can be used for many years.
My students are truly special. They are eager to share their voices, tackle new challenges, and grow into leaders who use technology and storytelling to strengthen relationships both in the classroom and throughout our community. Thanks to a recently funded DonorsChoose project and guidance from a podcast consultant, this Mac Mini was recommended as the perfect foundation to support the exciting work we are planning for our students.
