Our kindergarten students spend lots of time on the floor building reading, sitting, dancing, and most importantly—learning. Classroom carpets are the focal points of our space. Our students deserve a new large carpet space to collaborate and learn together with space. Our current rug does didn't account for our expanding enrollment and is too small for 24 students.
Lakeshore's Learning Shapes and Colors carpet will provide a clean and comfortable safe meeting place for students.
They will use it for morning meeting, group instruction, and peer work. This carpet will help us build community, learn the letters and shapes, and set the tone for us to learn and share together. Lastly, the additional rug will give us opportunities to regulate our bodies and give each other space to learn and play.
