My Project
Having flexible seating options in the classroom will give students the freedom to choose their seats around the room and promote student engagement, improve focus and concentration, and allow students to participate in collaboration and communication more effectively. Flexible seating arrangements also cater to the diverse needs of many students and can aid students who may have different sensory preferences. By giving students these flexible seating options, I am creating a comfortable learning environment while increasing student well-being overall.
I noticed that students who are able to move and get their wiggles out while learning are able to focus more and work more efficiently.
This is my first year teaching as well as my first classroom, so I have also included a paper organizer to put construction/colored paper in to allow students to have free paper to draw or craft with.
