My Students
As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.
My Project
The reusable write wipe packets will make it so less copies will be made, leading to less paper wasted.
The color printer will allow for color copies, leading to more student engagement.
This will make it easier for me, because I do not have easy access to a color printer.
The staple gun and staples are for hanging educational posters and helps keep things secure all year.
Folders and composition notebooks are used daily by the students for writing and organization.
The giant classroom timer will allow both me, the teacher, and my students to clearly see a set time and how much time is set for an activity.
I am in constant need of dry erase markers. They are used daily by me and my students.
The growth mindset posters will promote a more positive atmosphere in my classroom.
Colored pencils and scissors will allow for more creativity and for projects done in class.
Color wall borders will bring more color into the classroom and bring in a more playful and welcoming environment.
Masking tape and sticky tack are used to hang up posters and words without putting holes into the wall.
This is my second year of teaching, so I really appreciate all I can get. Thank you!
