This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with a wide range of students ages 5 to 12 years old who all have different SEL skills to learn.

I would use the books for whole class readings, small groups, and one on one meetings with kids; Being about to have social emotional, emotional regulation, and life skills books that give me tools to help and engage students would be invaluable!!!

I wish that I had the budget to be able to buy these books, but unfortunately our budgets can be limited and there are so many needs. I love working in a Title I building, we have a high percentage of poverty and diversity and I want to make sure we get our students everything that they need.
