My Project
I am excited to provide a subscription to Storyworks Magazine from Scholastic for my 4th and 5th grade students this coming year in our reading intervention groups. The stories are high interest and cover a lot of fiction and nonfiction standards. I know these stories will help develop students who love reading and it will spark an interest in a wide range of topics.
I also want to add to my Little Spot Library to help with emotional regulation books when it comes to stress that may come up while learning.
I have used Little Spot books for a while and they do a great job of helping support students identify what is going on and how they are feeling so they can get to a place where they can rejoin the class. I would also like to add the life skills educator book to create lessons for morning meeting.
Osmo kits have always been a favorite for my students and I know this reader kit will be a welcome addition.
I am excited about this next year and anticipate so much growth in my students.
