A “Little Spot”, A Lot of Emotions!

Help me give my students a “Little Spot of SEL” so that they have a tool to express their feelings and gain the social emotional tools that they need to be productive individuals.

My Project

The pandemic caused many restrictions within our school. Our preschool enrollment was capped at half its normal size. Many of my kindergartners who were unable to attend preschool lack the social and emotional skills that they would have gained. These same students have shown that they are not kindergarten ready, especially emotionally. Providing them with “ A Little Spot” will give them another tool that they can use to continue their social emotional learning so they can have a successful year in kindergarten and be ready for next school year.
