A Little Outdoor Escape

Help me give my students a chance to create an individual terrarium and enjoy a comfortable place to destress with their emotional fidget toys, games, and books!!

My Students

The majority of my students are boys ( 18 out of 22 )! They are excellent readers, creative and enjoy computers. During their free time they like to make things .Our last project was outfitting stuffed animals to survive hiking to the top of Mt. Everest.

My students are identified as accelerated learners.

Their curiosity exceeds their peers and former classes I've taught.

The majority of their school experience has been with COVID. They has been online, masked ,online and masked. They stress as their world continues to change.

My Project

My project will provide students an opportunity to build a terrarium and sit around a campfire, a place to destress.

The little red chairs and pretend fire pit will create an inviting environment to help with their emotional state.They will be able to take a break and circle up around a cozy fire.

The "Don't Go Bananas" game will teach them to control their emotions. Fidget toys will help destress them.

The glow in the dark terrariums will provide a connection to nature and self worth as they take care of their creations.Also a comfort at night!
