A Little More Organized, A Lot More Learning

My Students

As my classroom roster grows, it is difficult to find space for students materials where they are easily accessible and safely stored. It is essential my students learn the importance of being organized to guarantee success in their future years at school.

Our school is a culturally and economically diverse public school located in New York.

As a New York City teacher, it is very challenging to meet the needs of my students, with the budgets we are given. With a wide range of learners, it is essential I have the supplies to provide a strong foundation for my students. My goal is to not only teach my students, but make a remarkable impact on their lives. In order to build a classroom where students are involved in their learning and motivated to participate, I want to provide my class with the best learning materials and experiences.

My Project

Every morning students set themselves up for the day. They grab their math notebooks, science notebooks, writing folder, and a pencil. These materials throughout the day float between the carpet and their tables. With seat sacks, student tables will be cleared off providing more work space and the class will be more relaxed and organized. If their library books have a specific spot to go at their seats, instead of under their chairs or in cubbies, they would stay in better condition for elongated reading and always be accessible during lessons. Having these organization sacks, will keep students supplies at their fingertips for instant transitions and learning.

These seat sacks will help our classroom stay an organized, comfortable learning environment where students are driven to succeed.
