A Little Laptop Time

Help me give my students new laptops that will be used in the classroom to facilitate learning and guide our lessons more efficiently.

My Project

Today's students do best when incorporating technology into everyday lessons. I teach English language learners & students who struggle to read. Currently, I use lots of handouts when teaching my students to illustrate vocabulary or engage them in reading. This would be much easier and more earth friendly if we had technological devices instead of paper handouts. Some students have tablets, but several do not.

These laptops will enable my students to engage with the lessons in a format they are most comfortable, while reducing our paper waste.

My students mostly come from immigrant, often low-income households. Students don't have access to technology during our small group instruction and this would greatly help their language acquisition and reading skills.
