Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a middle school math teacher in a Title I school, I strive every day to make learning meaningful, engaging, and accessible for all of my students.
Many of them come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and face challenges that can make focusing on academics difficult.
One of the biggest hurdles in my classroom is the lack of access to printing materials.
A reliable printer and ink would allow me to create individualized math packets, colorful visual aids, graphic organizers, anchor charts, and interactive games tailored to different learning styles and ability levels. Printing resources like graph paper, manipulatives, and practice assessments helps students engage more deeply with the material, especially those who are visual or hands-on learners. It also allows for differentiated instruction, helping struggling students catch up and advanced learners stay challenged. With your support, I can give my students the tools they need to build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and succeed in math both in and beyond the classroom.
