Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Do you decorate your room? People say there is more than one way into a students mind but I think creativity is the best. Personally when I go somewhere with no decorations or color I feel unhappy or unmotivated.
This is why we want your help to bring us some flare to our classroom through bulletin board decorations and new comics to add to our library.
Students often complain about their classes being un-lively and unwelcoming. I've asked several students "what can I do to spruce up my room and make it more welcoming" and each reply is more decorations. Others, mention about having more interesting comics to choose from in our class library. I hope to bring life to my room through these new comics and decorations whilst giving my students more motivation and excitement for class. These comics will also help promote my student's literacy and their engagement in reading.
