it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the school year winds down, teachers begin to think about what they will need for the upcoming school year. Having the essential supplies is always important during that first week of school. I want to ensure students have what they need so they are ready to learn. To ensure my future students are successful, I am asking for spiral notebooks that will be used during math and pencil pouches that will hold all of their writing utensils. The spiral notebooks are used every day as they take notes and create anchor charts. The pencil pouches hold their pencils, erasers, Gator tickets, and more. In addition to these items, it is also important to have a clean classroom. The Swiffer refills and disinfecting wipes will help prevent the spread of germs and will keep their desks clean.
Keeping books organized and easily accessible is a must in any classroom!
Adding a book spinner to our classroom cozy corner will help keep our SEL books organized. My students love to read as they lounge on our pillows. The spinning bookshelf will keep our books neat and easy to see. Lastly, I want to keep snacks on hand for those students who do not eat breakfast or need energy to focus. The veggie straws and turkey sticks will be given to students when they are hungry. The extras will be stored in the containers with lids.
