Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Kindergarten and 3rd Grade multilingual learners come from diverse cultures. Although they have limited English proficiency, they all come with prior knowledge and various experiences that make them unique.
I requested for fidget bracelets and a weighted vest to help learners who need extra support to calm down, and focus.
The vocabulary picture cards and speech bubble sticky notes will be used to engage students in various reading and writing activities. In addition, the floor seats offer flexible seating and give learners a place to sit during story time or during any seated floor activity.
Other items, such as the table skirts will help keep the shelves looking clean and organized, while the magnetic rod will be used to display anchor charts.
