My Students

My students are like sponges, just waiting to soak up all the learning they can! Last school year presented some challenges, but we got through it TOGETHER! Teaching remotely comes with many challenges, but I am trying to stay ahead of the game, so I can provide them with the BEST remote education I can. Although we are not in school, I want to make sure my students know that they are important to me. My students' families have made the choice to keep their remote this school year.

I enjoy sending them notes of encouragement through the mail to make their day a little brighter!

Connecting with my students has always been important to me.

My Project

The colorful pens will make the math examples more exciting and help students understand and separate the steps in the problems. I teach virtually, so the gift cards will be used for students that go above and beyond. I like to have little contests that keep students engaged and focused and I like to surprise them in the mail with a little note and sometimes a gift card to brighten their day. I have been doing this for two years getting an email from a student after they received mail puts a smile on my face. They love the surprise!
