My Project

My students live in a bird migratory flyway and are interested in all the birds that migrate past the school in the spring and fall. These resources will be used, throughout the school year by my students, so they can participate in different citizen science projects that focus on birds.

Bird watching is relaxing and has social emotional health benefits.

The big classroom windows allow my students to observe the spring and fall migratory birds flying in and out of the trees from their desks. These supplies will attract more birds and be great student motivators for providing valuable data to bird scientists.
