This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have such a wonderful diverse group of students who are in my class to help them learn English. My students make me happy and I just love being their teacher. Each morning they come to school ready to learn with smiles on their faces. We learn together and I would love to add a few things to help my class.

I am looking to enhance both the viewing and listening experience of my classroom.

Along with my read aloud's and books that can be found on the computer, I would love for my students to experience the fun that comes with listening to a story in a group. It offers a wonderful opportunity for students to be hands on, work together, listen to a story more than once and learn to work independently. Having a listening center would allow me to add this to my center rotation so that I can make sure all students can work while I am working with a small group.

I would also love to have a printer so that I can print in my own classroom. Currently I have to walk down the hall to another teachers classroom in order to print. Sometimes I just need a quick copy and it makes it difficult not having easy access to a printer. Plus I would love to be able to print in color! Please consider helping my students and I with our listening and viewing experience.
