Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A light table will help my students explore manipulatives, show creative expression, and begin problem solving strategies. My students will be engaging with colors, shapes, and sizes. Skills such as sorting and counting will be utilized while using the light table.

A light table will also create an interactive environment for my students which encourages social interaction.

This will be an area that helps my students with their communication skills as they are engaged in collaborative play around the light table. Teamwork to build and explore with manipulatives will occur naturally.
