Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are adorable, curious, kind, spunky, bright, and enjoy inviting each other to participate in different choice time activities. With this project, we will be able to add a light table to the mix that our students will absolutely love. The light table and chair set will be available year-round during choice time and will have rotating manipulatives that include colorful transparent shapes, insects, letters, numbers, letter tiles and 3D blocks.
The light table is a sensory tool that is both visual and tactile and thereby promotes emotional wellness.
Our TK students are ages three through five and would really thrive with an increased variety of sensory opportunities. It is ideal for this developmental stage.
