A Life Without Science is a Life Unexplored!!

My project needs enough microscopes and slides so we can build a working science lab in the school for the fabulous students we are proud to teach. They deserve science every day, not just when we can afford to buy the materials from teachers paychecks...help!

We are a small, 250 student school community in San Francisco's fabulous Unified School District. Since our budget has been slashed consistently for the past five years, we've had to begrudgingly let go of some of the necessities that the kids deserve in their every day curriculum...like art, music, dance, and science. Because we have no budget, we teachers must make do with what we can find for free or low cost in San Francisco, which is sometimes impossible, and usually we end up buying our science supplies with our own money. But our meager paychecks will only allow so much...which is why I would love some amazing microscopes for the kids in the school. They're such terrific students, with a real enthusiasm for science. They deserve a more in-depth curriculum, and I believe that microscopes will pave the way to greater things, and more curiosity when it comes to this subject. Kids need science to open their minds to other possibilities that are beyond what the human eye can see. Microscopes will magnify those possibilities immeasurably. Please help us fund a science lab for our school! Thank you!
